Jubilee: Carnival in the Mall

on BBC One London

David Dimbleby and the team add their insights to the climax of the Golden Jubilee weekend, with the Notting Hill Carnival leading an afternoon of music, costumes and floats. At 3.30 the Queen returns to the Mall to watch a parade of servicemen and women, a retrospective look at the last half-century in Great Britain and a carnival march.
At 5.45 the Queen joins other members of the royal family at Buckingham Palace in a balcony appearance, while at 6.00 Concorde leads the Red Arrows in a fly-past along the Mall.
