The Royal Variety Performance
On BBC Television tonight from 7.25 to 10.25

Once a year show business puts on its own show - in aid of its own needy members. Top-line artists, representing all fields of entertainment on both sides of the Atlantic, gather to perform in the greatest Variety show of the year. This year's Royal Variety Perforamnce, which took place on October 29, was recorded on the stage of the London Palladium, and tonight you can watch its unforgettable spectacle. During the afternoon the Light Programme will broadcast sixty minutes of the show's highlights.
