Growing for Gold

on BBC Two England

The Chelsea Flower Show - the Royal Horticultural
Society's annual spectacle of colour. Peter Seabrook and Roy Lancaster take a look behind the scenes at the preparations for the show.
They talk to exhibitors such as cactus specialist Brian Goodey , rose breeder Jack Harkness and investigate new developments in azalea and houseplant growing in Belgium. As well as gathering some useful tips for every gardener, they discover what is involved in producing perfect blooms for a Chelsea display. For some, this could mean the prestigious award of a gold medal.
