Fighting Back

on BBC One London

A series in which well-known people reveal how they coped with losing their health.
Margot Hemingway was once the highest paid model in the world and on her way to international stardom but she guarded a dark secret - the eating disorder, bulimia.
Tonight she talks frankly to
Lynn Redgrave about her fight back from the brink of despair and explains that she now realises that "the idea that you can go through this alone and get better is silly. You have to tell somebody because you are only as sick as your secrets." The film also follows her journey of self-discovery in a London hospital specialising in eating disorders, where she explored the reasons behind her bulimia. She says: "I learned so much there. It's very hard because there is a lot of pain but nobody can love you until you learn to love yourself." Producer Sally Dixon
