Fellini and Satyricon
The most celebrated film director in Italy is also known throughout the world for such international successes as La Strada, La Dolce Vita, and 8 1/2. He is now at work in Rome on a version of Satyricon, the scandalous classic by Petronius of Nero's time.
Release was allowed to visit the set on the day Fellini was shooting an amorous scene in the Garden of Pleasure. Tonight's programme shows il maestro at work and includes an interview with Fellini himself.
