What Grandad Did in the Dark

on BBC Radio 4 FM

A pile of flaking 78rpm discs have lain undisturbed in a south London garage for 70 years. They were recorded by Noah Zerdin, a Latvian Jew who founded two spiritualist organisations in Britain. Remarkably, they claim to contain the voices of people who died before the recordings were made. Zerdin's three granddaughters decide to investigate his "great experiment" to prove life after death.
