Woman's Hour

on BBC Radio 4 FM

Introduced by Sue Macgregor from The Daily Mail Ideal Home Exhibition

On hand to guide and advise are Esther Rantzen, queen of consumerism; Zena Skinner, cookery writer; and Tony Wilkins of Do It Yourself magazine. Housing will be a Talking Point and if you can't afford to buy your dream house, why not build your own?

Daughters of the Vicar by D.H. Lawrence, abridged in four parts by Ba Mason. Read by Glenda Jackson
1: Mary and Louisa Lindley were daughters of the Vicar of Aldecross, a disappointed and embittered man. His wife, equally embittered, had retreated into invalidism. Miss Mary, the eldest child, was a long slim thing with a proud, pure look. Miss Louisa, the second, was short and plump and obstinate-looking.
(Music: Gardner's Theme and Variations)
(Women in Love: 3.15 pm)
