An appeal on behalf of the British Sailors' Society, by the Rt. Hon. Ronald Cross , Minister of Shipping
The British Sailors' Society has a network of hostels throughout the world. Since the outbreak of war a number of new hostels have been opened while the demand for new buildings is constant.
The society cares for thousands of sailors of the Royal and Merchant Navies, providing sleeping accommodation, meals, and recreation, and generally looks after their spiritual and physical welfare.
Contributions will be gratefully acknowledged, and should be addressed to The Rt. Hon. Ronald Cross , [address removed]
