Gardeners' World

on BBC Two England

from the Hillier Arboretum with Roy Lancaster and Geoff Hamilton
Started in 1953 by the late Sir Harold Hillier , and presented to Hampshire County Council in 1977, the arboretum is acknowledged to have a more complete collection of shrubs and trees than any other in this country. Each season brings a new range of floral and foliage effects.
The cameras visited the arboretum last October when the colour was spectacular. Executive producer JOHN KENYON
