Bucknell's House: 21

on BBC Television

Barry Bucknell's weekly do-it-yourself TV guide to work in the home.

A rotten wooden floor has been pulled up in the basement (the wood was burnt to prevent the rot spreading) and a new floor of concrete has to be laid. It needs a damp-proof membrane to make sure the floor covering does not rot as the wooden boards did.
Barry Bucknell's two assistants, Ron Finch and Bill Lane, stand by to help when nearly four tons of wet concrete are delivered through the front basement window.
