Raoul Wallenberg - a Swedish diplomat in Budapest in 1944 -saved tens of thousands of Jews from the Auschwitz gas chambers. The amazing exploits of this modern Pimpernel and the mystery of his disappearance are revealed by this investigative film. Documents recently released by the Swedish authorities show beyond doubt that he was alive long after his alleged death, and that he could still be alive somewhere in the Soviet Gulag-, forgotten ' for 38 years.
