Nearly nine hundred years after the first Crusaders marched to Jerusalem, a party of young people from Cambridge set out to follow their route. They find many traces of the knights and princes, their men-at-arms and work-people-not least the splendid medieval castles sited as strong points from the Bosphorus to the River Jordan.
