Lorraine Ross lives in Silicon Valley, California. Once the largest orchard in the world, it's become the fastest growing city in America, with more millionaires than Texas. In 1981 Lorraine's third daughter, Juliana, was born with severe heart defects. It was one of a series of miscarriages, stillbirths and deaths among her neighbours -just why, was a mystery. It wasn't until an anonymous letter arrived at the local newspaper that Lorraine began to suspect the reasons behind the tragedies on her street.
