Maurice Greene will be looking for revenge. He was beaten by Mark Lewis-Francis on the anchor leg of the 4x100m relay at the Olympics in Great Britain's historic victory. The latter will hope to have overcome a hamstring injury and be fit enough to also take on his fellow relay team member Jason Gardener.

Olympic 10,000m champion Kenenisa Bekele will be chasing another world record having targeted the eight mins 4.69 sees time set by compatriot Haile Gebrselassie in 2003.

Olympic gold medallist Kelly Holmes can expect a rousing welcome when she runs over 1,000m.
