Frozen in Heaven. The Spanish conquistadors told of an Incan ceremony in which children were sacrificed to mountain gods. Historians doubted its very existence but, asthis programme reveals, several bodies have been found buried high in the Andes complete with gold and silver offerings.
Cameras follow intrepid anthropologist Johan Reinhard on an expedition to a massive sacred landmark in search of a frozen human sacrifice.
