A series in which Australians look at themselves and their rapidly changing continent.
Pino and Livia Bosi consciously turned their backs on Italy and Europe. They call themselves Australian, yet stubbornly teach their children Italian. They live in a Sydney flat which could as easily be in suburban Rome or Naples. They recognise the paradox and would smile at it: they have chosen a new world yet still belong to the old.
