The Trench

on BBC Two England

Life in a First World War trench is re-created once more in this final episode of a three-part series. The 10th
Battalion of the East Yorkshire regiment lost over men in just one day during the Battle of Ancre, far more than they had suffered cumulatively in over two years. The modern-day volunteers reflect on their experiences and their forefathers' sacrifice. Narrated by Andrew Lincoln.
