Splitting Up
One of Britain's few global companies, ICI now plans to split in two, separating its pharmaceuticals from its bulk chemical operations. Some allege it's a cosmetic move to ease fund-raising, but the company says there's much more than that going on. Tom Maddocks has been to the Far East and America to investigate the ICI split-up.
