Horizon

on BBC Two England

Iceman
The discovery last year of a remarkably well-preserved corpse, frozen in an alpine glacier for over 5,000 years, was one of this century's most exciting archaeological finds. Not only is the body one of the oldest ever found, but with it were over 70 of the dead man's possessions - clothing, tools, even the remains of his last meal. Horizon follows the scientists' quest to find out where this lonely prehistoric traveller came from, how he lived and how he met his death.
