In 1939 the Nazis went to war armed with a propaganda machine that bombarded the world with film of their early triumphs. It was to be three years before the British made their first major propaganda film but then it was three years before the British had their first major victory.
Three members of the Army Film and Photographic Unit, Roy Boult ing, David Macdonald and Ken Rodwell , tell of the part they played in the making of Desert Victory, the much-acclaimed feature documentary about the battle at El Alamein.
