by SURI KRISHNAMMA and SHALINI KRISHNAMMA Kamala, a young student nurse, joins the staff of an old people's hospital. She strikes up an unusual relationship with Saleem, one of the patients. If Saleem has the ability to walk and talk, why doesn't he use it? Kamala's attempts to break down his isolation have tragic consequences. The film was made by the Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design, and received a BAFTA nomination for Best Short Film, 1986
