Tonight the survivors of the Daily Mirror World Cup Rally are due to sail on board a car ferry from Colombia to Panama to begin the final one thousand miles of their six-week journey to Mexico City. This is the story of what happened to the rally cars and their crews after they set out from Rio de Janeiro for a week of spectacular driving across the cattle country of Argentina to the foothills of the Andes and Santiago.
