To mark the centenary year of the Italian composer's death, a performance, recorded earlier this year at the Barbican in London, of Giuseppe Verdi 's grand Requiem Mass. The London Symphony Orchestra and Chorus are conducted by Antonio Pappano , and are joined by soprano Renee Fleming , mezzo-soprano Violeta Urmana , tenor Jorge Antonio Pita , and bass Rene Pape.
