Dolly Parton is one of country music's most celebrated singers and has also acted in a number of films. In this special programme she performs some of her best-loved songs, takes questions from the audience, introduces archive clips and special guests, and discusses the recording of her latest album Treasures. Songs include a cover of Neil Young's After the Goldrush. An interview with Dolly Parton can be seen at 9.30pm. (Stereo)

Documentary chronicling the personal and professional relationship which has blossomed between American country singer Kathy Mattea and Scottish folk singer-songwriter Dougie MacLean. Mattea fell in love with MacLean's innovative music, which is rooted in ancient Scots culture, and when MacLean heard Mattea's Midwestern tones, the duo began an unusual musical exchange.

The enduring singer Emmylou Harris reflects on her three decades in music, from her early days with country pioneer Gram Parsons and with her legendary Hot Band. through to the acoustic style she has deployed recently. Harris also talks about her recent album The Wrecking Ball, which features collaborations with Canadian rocker Neil Young, producer Daniel Lanois and U2 drummer Larry Mullen Jr, and about forthcoming work with Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders.
