Henry Wick leaves his suburban home as usual to go to his work as a clerk in the office of a City stockbroker. On arrival, the head of the firm gives him a bonus cheque for Cioo and tells him to take a week's holiday. What happened to Henry after this unexpected windfall is the subject of this comedy.
