Balgay Approved School for Girls in Scotland is not a place of punishment. Few of the girls there are offenders in the criminal sense. They are taken away because their parents have lost control of them, or they need protection, or they are in moral danger. How much do we care about our own children? How often do we make sure they know we care? This second look inside Balgay spotlights the man who deals with sixty girls who feel themselves to be social outcasts, even enemies of society.
