This fortnightly feature for sports fans opened on New Year's day. In tonight's broadcast there will be eye-witness accounts of three Association football matches (Rovers v. Gillingham, Torquay v. Swindon, Bournemouth v. Notts County), a Rugby match (Bristol v. Swansea), and the finals of the English Hockey trials held at Weston-super-Mare. There will also be talks on the West of England Darts Championship and the Cheltenham Hunt Festival.
