Etosha - The Place of Dry Water Narrated by IAN HOLM
Etosha, in the midst of arid Namibia, is the site of an extinct lake and one of Africa's great wildlife preserves. The watery Images that shimmer on its dry surface give rise to its name - the Place of dry water. Around its edges waterholes support large herds of zebra, wildebeeste, springbok and other savanna animals. But to drink is to risk death.
Below the water, turtles lie in wait for thirsty doves; frogs cannibalise one another; a lioness waits to teach her cubs to kill-some of the many surprises as the struggle for survival unfolds.
