Continuing Steven Bochco's legal drama, starring Anthony LaPaglia

Wyler is forced to orchestrate a new defence strategy following basketball star Rickey Latrell 's confession to the murder of Sandy Fortas.
Proposing that Latrell takes the stand to admit to the murder, Wyler hopes the jury won't convict when they learn that Fortas was blackmailing Latrell's wife Carla. Then Latrell goes into hiding.
Back at the firm, when news breaks that Wyler is seeking a replacement for assistant Gwen, Ted Hoffman's former right-hand man pays a visit.
