From Wiltshire, West Country champions The Aldbourne Band conducted by Don Keene who battle it out for a place in the first semi-final, and a chance to win £l,000, against The Berec (Ever Ready) Band from County Durham, the Northern champions conducted by Major Peter Parkes with guest supporters David Freeman and Marian Foster
