Late Night Line-Up Interview: Penelope Betjeman

on BBC Two England

Lady Betjeman, wife of the poet Sir John Betjeman, writes under her own name, Penelope Chetwode. Her most recent book Kulu - The End of the Habitable World records her return to India where she spent some years when her father, Field-Marshal Sir Philip Chetwode, was Commander-in-Chief. Filmed at her home in Berkshire, Penelope Betjeman talks about her life and her two passions-horses and India.
