This year over 12,000 works arrived at Burlington House, Piccadilly, London, the home of the Royal Academy of Arts, for consideration by the Hanging Committee for the 216th Summer Exhibition.
In this second of two programmes, a look at some of the 1,700 exhibits which passed the scrutiny of both the Selection and Hanging Committees.
