Viewers' Queries Answered
At the Desks: Nan Winton and Peter Haigh
Also appearing: Charles Pennethorne Hughes and Elkan Allan

Some of the questions that viewers send in to this programme would baffle Einstein. What can Nan Winton and Peter Haigh do in the face of such requests? They try to get as complete an answer as they can; but they make it clear that their knowledge is limited to books and other sources of information and that they really do not know what lies beyond Outer Space.
But it is not always like this. Getting the answers to the Information Desk questions is usually a fascinating business. One thing the programme has proved is that people like to know the whys and wherefores, and viewers in their questions range over a wide variety of subjects.
The answers are provided in one of two ways; either direct by Nan Winton and Peter Haigh as they sit at the desk, or by demonstration by an expert in the studio.
