A wildebeest has been shot and taken to a waterhole in the Etosha Pan Game Park-a vast nature reserve on the borders of South West Africa and the Portuguese territory of Angola. As night falls, a pride of nine lions led by Castor —old, magnificent, black-maned—comes to feed.
