The Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament is attracting more support now than at any time since the 1960s. In Holland and Germany anti-nuclear parties are winning sizeable votes at the polls. Their first declared priority is to try to stop the introduction of new American tactical nuclear weapons to Europe - weapons like the Cruise missile, which NATO claims is an essential part of the West's defence.
