The Holiday programme is back in its familiar Sunday spot, heralding a series that provides advice and information, film reports from resorts at home and abroad, and expert comment in the studio.
The objective, as before, is to inform viewers about latest holiday trends, about developments that might affect their choice of destination, and about the value, comfort and standard of service they will get for their money.
This first programme has John Carter sampling one sector of a multi-destination coach tour, travelling through Hungary, Yugo-, slavia and Italy. In contrast, Kieran Prendiville reports from a winter sunshine resort in Morocco.
