Fred Astaire Dances: Roberta

Continuing a season of films featuring the dancing and acting talents of Fred Astaire who died earlier this year.
Today also starring Irene Dunne, Ginger Rogers, Randolph Scott

This RKO star-cast romantic musical comedy tells the story of the misadventures of a pair of travelling Americans who inherit a fashionable Parisienne dress shop called 'Roberta' and subsequently meet and fall in love with a White Russian princess and bogus Polish countess.
The beautiful Jerome Kern songs include Smoke Gets in Your Eyes and Lovely to Look At.
