Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em

on BBC Two England

Continuing a repeat run of the seventies comedy series about the bungling but well-meaning Frank Spencer. Starring Michael Crawford

When Frank's mother-in-law has a turn, he goes across the road to use his neighbour's phone and call for a doctor. His task seems straightforward enough but the accident-prone hero manages to cause chaos by giving out the wrong address.

When events become even more complicated and Spencer finds himself locked out of his own house, his attempts to locate a ladder to gain entry soon draw the attention of the authorities, who need help with their housebreaking enquiries.
