Survivors: Roo's Eye

on BBC One London

A new view of us.

View Roo the kangaroo is born in an Australian national park - in a drought. She can survive that but when she leaves her mother and the safety of the park, her problems really begin.
The farmers shoot kangaroos. They see them as being in competition with their sheep - animals that have changed the face of Australia since their introduction by man.
There may be food and water in abundance but will Roo survive in this different, hostile landscape?
Narrated by Rula Lenska and Brian Gear.
