GEORGE GERSHWIN , who died 50 years ago today, supplied only one score out of the nine RKO Astaire-Rogers musicals, but it proved to be a great one. The songs include the title number, 'They all laughed', 'They can't take that away from me' and 'Let's call the whole thing off. Fred plays a world-renowned ballet dancer, while Ginger is a famous venue artist. At first there's antipathy, but romance and songs win through....
