This company was formed in the autumn of 1927. The idea was for West End actors and actresses to squeeze in a show for children between a matinee and an evening performance. This they did for four years at a small theatre in the West End of London, getting nothing for it but small expenses. Although the company has no headquarters now, it still carries on the good work, and every year a real children's pantomime is produced at the Embassy Theatre.
