Bucknell's House: 32

on BBC Television

Barry Bucknell's weekly do-it-yourself TV guide to jobs in the home.

The drawing-room in the lower flat (the one with trench windows on to the garden) needs an electric fire instead of the old and broken fireplace. At the same time bookshelves can be fitted in the recesses beside the chimney breast, giving a pleasant appearance to the whole wall. In the drawing-room upstairs. a lot can be done with do-it-yourself parquet flooring.
