The Sunday Play: Aristocrats

A production of Brian Friel 's play about the Irish Catholic aristocracy to celebrate the playwright's 70th birthday. In a fictional Donegal town, the O'Donnells live in Ballybeg Hall, where the family has gathered to celebrate the wedding of youngest daughter Claire. But the house is decaying, the family fortune has been dissipated, and it is clear that the O'Donnells' world has changed for ever.
