There is a unique adult education experiment in Liverpool. Tonight its students, past and present, tell of their Second Chance to Learn - on a course that springs from their working-class life and interests.
Their report highlights the tragic waste of talent among people who feel that the education system has broken their confidence, people who've learned only to believe in their own failure. They show that this decline can be slammed into reverse, but only by giving many more A Second Chance to Learn.
