Outsiders New Zealand created a stir when they qualified from Group B - a six-wicket victory over Scotland in their final game securing their Super Sixes place. New Zealand bowler Geoff Allott was Man of the Match that day and, with 15 victims, finished the group stage as the tournament's leading wicket-taker.
