The goal that stopped 400 million hearts... Wolfgang Weber (left) beats England goalkeeper Gordon Banks to put West Germany level seconds before full-time in the World Cup Final at Wembley two years ago. Weber's goal sent the match into extra time, but it wasn't enough to save the Germans. England, rising to their greatest heights, scored twice more to take the world crown. Now, today, in Hanover the West Germans seek revenge in a match that seems certain to be another thriller.
Introduced by Harry Carpenter.
