Casper the Enigma - or How To Influence People and Not Make Friends
Billy Casper, subject of this film, has a 15-year record of golfing consistency unrivalled even by Nicklaus and Trevino. Yet he remains unloved by his public, a mystery to the Press. Casper-Mormon, do-gooder, golfer par excellence - has been regularly tipped to win the British Open, and has never done so. It will be the final irony if, comparatively unfancied, he does so next week.
