Last summer in Gloucester the Three Choirs Festival celebrated its 250th anniversary. The annual 'Musick Meeting' of the three cathedral choirs of Gloucester, Hereford and Worcester attracts the country's finest orchestras and soloists, and audiences which include visitors from all over the world.
The Festival Conductor in 1977 was John Sanders, Organist and Master of the Choristers at Gloucester Cathedral, and it is from his point of view that the film shows the week's events.
