A Rebel Remembers
It's 50 years since the House of Commons at last surrendered and finally gave women the vote.
Connie Lewcock played a major part in securing that victory. Her safe and secure Lincolnshire childhood had within it the seeds of her later rebellion and her activities as a militant suffragette.
Now in her 80s, and still politically active, CONNIE LEWCOCK looks back on her life and on the suffragettes' struggles.
