5.15 Tunes for a Sunday afternoon sung by the Kirkintilloch Children's
Choir
This all-kilted choir is a discovery of Sir Hugh Roberton , conductor of the famous Glasgow Orpheus Choir. Sir Hugh heard them first in a musical festival, and shortly afterwards the choir gave its first broadcast in a children's religious service. The choir's conductor, the Rev. John R. Macpherson , is a minister in Kirkintilloch.
